Bhilwara is in south Rajasthan, approximately 240 km from Jaipur, 50 km from Chittorgarh, and 180 km from Udaipur. Many visitors combine a studio visit with a stay in Udaipur.
The nearest major airport is Udaipur (UDR), approximately 180 km by road (about two to three hours). Jaipur (JAI) is approximately 240 km. Bhilwara has its own railway station, well connected to Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, and Udaipur.
Comfortable hotels are available in Bhilwara. For a more memorable stay, many visitors prefer Udaipur (Taj Lake Palace, Oberoi Udaivilas, Leela Palace) or Devigarh (RAAS Devigarh).
October to March, when the weather in Rajasthan is pleasant. The studio is closed during major Pushtimarg festivals.
The studio receives many enquiries. Each is read carefully. Detailed replies, particularly to commission enquiries, sometimes take several days, as Trilok prefers to respond himself when the question is significant. Please be patient. The slowness of the studio is also the slowness of the work.
